The Arlington Black Leadership Award — Food & Drink Nominees
You have been open for years. You have a recipe people drive across town for. You have regulars who bring their family. Somebody should put a camera in your dining room and ask why you opened this place. We are asking. One conversation in your dining room. Your story, on camera, in your own words. That is all this is.
Why This Works
What a feature on ArlingtonBlack does for your restaurant.
People Find Your Restaurant First
Your episode lives on ArlingtonBlack.com and YouTube, optimized for local search. When someone in Arlington, Mansfield, or Grand Prairie searches for a place to eat, your name shows up.
Answers the question every hungry local is already typing into Google: where should I eat tonight?
They Already Feel Like Regulars
They watched you talk about your food in your own dining room. They heard why you opened. By the time they walk in, they already feel like they know you.
Kills the one worry every new customer has before they sit down: what do I order? When you and your chef talk about the food on camera, they already know the answer.
Content You Own
You walk away with the full video and clips you can post anywhere — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, your own website. Yours to keep, yours to share.
Answers the question: what's actually mine here? The finished video and clips are yours to post on Instagram, TikTok, or your own website — nothing locked behind our channel.
Your Place Looks Like the Place to Go
Footage of your dining room, your kitchen, your team in action. The kind of video that makes people say “I have to try that place” before they have ever been.
Kills the doubt words alone can't: is the food really that good? The camera doesn't lie — it's your chef's hands, your kitchen, your plate leaving the pass.
You Stand With the Best in the Area
Being featured alongside other restaurant and bar owners across Arlington, Mansfield, and Grand Prairie says something about your place. People trust what they see together.
This is the one that does the real work. People walk in already feeling like they know you — and if your chef is the one talking about the food on camera (even if that's you), they feel like they've already met the person making their meal. Strangers become regulars before they ever sit down.
No Cost. No Catch. About an Hour.
We bring the setup to your restaurant. You be yourself. Production, editing, and publishing are fully covered. Your only investment is about an hour of your time.
Answers the question everyone is quietly thinking: what's the catch? There isn't one. No invoice after the interview, no upsell, no fine print.
How It Works
From first conversation to published episode.
We Connect
We stop by your restaurant, or you reach out here. A short conversation to hear your story and make sure it is a good fit.
Day 1Quick Questionnaire
We send a few questions. What do your regulars always order? What is the story behind the name? What do people get wrong about your food? This shapes the conversation.
Day 3Recording Day
About an hour at your restaurant. A relaxed conversation in your dining room. No scripts. We bring the cameras, the lighting, and capture footage of your space and your food.
Day 7Edit and Publish
Edited and published on the ArlingtonBlack YouTube channel. You get the full episode and clips to post on your own channels. Yours to keep.
2–3 Weeks"There are restaurants in Arlington, Mansfield, and Grand Prairie that people would love if they knew they existed. Nobody has ever walked in with a camera and asked the owner to tell their story. That is what Season One is about." Rico Brown — Publisher, ArlingtonBlack.com
